Disaster Restoration Photo Album: Water is lurking in the walls after a Milford, Connecticut Sewage Backup

Sometimes, things don't always appear as they are...especially in this case.  A new client of ours that is was working with a local plumbing contractor, reached out to us after experiencing a water backup in her basement.  To the untrained eye this may just look like some water on the carpet that can be dried up and all will be well.   Unfortunately, think again.  The walls in the affected area are almost 100% wet.  On top of that, the water source is a backup (like from the sewer).  Even though it looks clean, this water is grossly contaminated with bacteria and pathogens.  This could spell disaster for the unsuspecting homeowner that thinks they can handle this task on their own. It pays to call a pro, even it is just for advice or to understand just what kind of problem that you have.
